One of the colorful projects shown

Well, we have to say that the Environment week was a huge success. It was quite interesting and we received good reviews from the students and teachers. We sold all our plants and managed to get hundreds of students to "print" their thumbs on the Environment banner. Throughout the week, we displayed the fantastic artwork done by some of the students, the  innovative and colorful projects created by a number of MS Youth members and even the inter-house sculptors for everyone to have a good look at.

We hope that we helped inspire everyone to take better care of the environment. We did not just conduct the "Environment Week" for fun or because we, well, just wanted to. We want everyone to know or understand that our environment is at a threat and we want everyone's cooperation to make sure that we will not get to see the end of our existing environment. Pollution has existed for long, much has been now as to our activity we actually contributed to. The intensity of pollution nowadays is in a high level and is waiting for an effective action. Countless of pollutions are evolving everyday, from the minor to the major disastrous forms,  destructing the living environment, causing imbalances to the environmental equilibrium, at the same time breaking the protocols set by scientists and governments at international level. It's a growing pain, it's a global threat, anywhere, anytime in the world and we should take positive action towards it as a caring global community.

So please, save the environment, save the earth.

Ms Youth
